
I’ve previoulsy mentioned the idea of using a smaller plate, based on the idea that we eat what’s on our plate. So if we use a smaller plate = we eat less!
The same can be true of what I drink. I replaced the standard wine glass for a small tumbler. The kind you might see some French cafes offer wine in. This simply means I have to keep filling it up if I want to drink the same as I would have with a regular wine glass. And each time I fill it up, it forces me to think, ‘do I really want this?’
A smaller wine glass can be a simple and easy behavioural change to reducing the amount of wine drunk.
So using a smaller wine glass can be one way to reduce the amount of wine being consumed. Reducing consumption of alcohol can also be achieved by not drinking at all on certain days of fthe week. Read more here.
