One of the side effects of setting long term goals and making long term behavioural changes is that you may well forget what you’ve changed.
Using smaller plates, eventually becomes normal. They are no longer small plates, just plates.
Not nibbling stuff before meals no longer becomes an exercise in self restraint, it becomes the norm.
Not eating crisps, becomes the norm.
Not drinking so many sugary drinks, becomes the norm.
You’re not on a diet anymore, you’re just eating stuff which is healthier or at least less unhealthy. And that’s the new norm for you.
Eventually you will forget these changes. You will like the look of the new you and you won’t dream of going back to what you did before.
You’re not on a diet. You just eat what you eat. 🙂
